Business Structures

To support our Partner's needs UMG maintains access to a wide variety of merchandise and advertising offers.  We have developed three distinct financial structures to economically deliver these product offers.  These three structures are as follows:

UMG Proprietary Programs

In these programs, the merchandise is purchased by UMG, from the vendor on a wholesale basis. The vendor either ships the merchandise direct to the customer or to the UMG warehouse. UMG controls all aspects of the process from marketing materials, order processing, fulfillment and customer service.

Vendor Supported Programs (VSP)

In these programs, an outside marketing partner assumes the marketing risk.  UMG will oversee the sales, creative, printing, operations and billing of the program.  From the Partner's perspective, there is no difference in this program and the UMG propriety program.

Advertising Programs

These programs are similar to VSP Programs as described above, except that in this case the partner produces the promotional material and the customer payments are made by check or bank card and not to our Partner's customer's credit card.  Advertisers use this program to acquire new customers.
